Reminder:  Novels must be read by October 17 in groups California, Trojans, and Burgundy.

Groups California, Trojans, and Burgundy have all been given individual novels to read as part of the Reading Counts program.  Due Date is on or before October 17, 2013.  If students are finished early, they may take their book test before October 17.

All classes are reading Just Once starting on Page 143. Test will be on Friday, September 6.

All classes are reading the story LaBamba in the Literature Book.  Tests will be either Thursday or Friday depending on the class.

Students must complete the Americanism Essay Contest which requires them to write 250-300 words on the topic.....What Freedom do I Enjoy Most?  Essay is due November 29, 2012 along with the cover page filled out that students received.
